Since it's almost christmas, just wanted to share with you a song that really helped me understand the true meaning of Christmas.
The song is about the narrator standing in a line to buy items for last minute shopping on Christmas eve, but is not really in the Christmas spirit. The little boy, in front of him is dressed in worn, old clothes who wants to buy a pair of women's shoes. The boy tells the cashier that he wishes to buy the shoes for his sick mother so that she can be happy and she can look beautiful when she meets Jesus later that night. The cashier informs the boy that he doesn't have enough money to buy the shoes, which makes the little boy ask for help from the narrator. The narrator then pays for the shoes, and the boy thanks him and walks away, the narrator then realizes that god sent that little boy to him, to remind him what Christmas is about.
